|Year Of Manufacture:||1965|
|Current Location:||United Kingdom|
|Notes:||Had a lot of trouble in the first few weeks, but turned it around. With rebuild on the top end, the suspension, brakes and electrics all getting much needed work. Now a reliable enjoyable classic car. Shes been our wedding car, and again for a few friends and family. Last summer she made it out to Belgium and even towed a stricken classic off the highway! Recently featured in an article in Practical CLASSICS (FEB 20).
A very original car, her past came to light during the work. A ticket for the ferry at Falmouth from the late 60s, a North Wales parking ticket stub, and a few shillings, were all found down inside the seats.
|Fate:||Brought from the Lincolnshire area summer 2018. Required a lot of mechanical recommissioning to make a reliable classic.
One of a few Mk4 automatics left, only 5 on the road that I know of.
|Modifications:||Electronic screen wash pump. The vacuum version was already gone. Poly bushes, commercial tyres.
|Accolades:||Its always been a rare car, but now very hard to find another. All original trim, glass and interior. Column change automatic.
2000 miles in 3 days into Europe and back, no problem at all.
