Eric Dessouroux (re: 103 Squadron RAF)Village of Andoy, near Namur in Belgium. Oct 31/Nov 1 1944. Lancaster LL964 of 103 Sq., bellylands in a field near the village. All crew survive, with the help of the townspeople, all return safely to U.K. Six Canadians, J.C. Cooke, J.A. Goff, F.R. Hill, E.A. Mann, J.H.C. McCoubrey, and my Uncle Melvin Osborne Orr. Sadly their new Lancaster failed to return during a raid to Dortmund 29 Nov 1944. All were killed but E.A. Mann. Any word on the memorial setup in Belgium would be nice. Lest we Forget! Doug Smiley.
