George W S Borthwick DFC (Flt. Lt) - 97 SquadronI am researching the wartime service of my uncle Flt. Lt. George Wilson Syme Borthwick DFC. He served with 97 Squadron, stationed at Bourn, Cambridgeshire, between August 1943 and January 1944. He was posted as "Missing" on a raid to Berlin on 28/29 January 1944, whilst flying as a navigator in Lancaster JB353, squadron letters "OF-L".
