Harold Eric Hunter

Paul Hunter says:
"I am a 44 year old Private Pilot from Christchurch New Zealand.
I am trying to make contact with anyone who flew with,or knew of my Uncle Harold Eric Hunter, a Pilot with 57 Squadron between September 1941 to March 16 1942.
Eric lost his life on 16 March 1942 when the Wellington (no 3599) he was piloting crashed on the Irish Coast. His logbook shows seven other persons were with him at the time of the crash. They were F/O Elliot, F/L Maguire, Sgt Taylor, Sgt Henderson, Rev Crawford, ASO Blakiston and one other whose name I can't decipher in his log book. I believe at least one person survived the crash.
Other persons mentioned in his log book are Sgt Plunket, P/O Dowling, Sgt Ford, Sgt Lees, LAC Ashe, F/Sgt Fraser.
If any of these people are still alive I would love to ear from them. Similarly there relatives or any one who can provide me with information on the history of 57 Squadron."
