At the front of the house facing the main A5025 is a separate building which operated as a small gift shop until the late 1980s.

The shop has a door on one gable end, a large window facing the road, and a small window to the rear. A larger opening could easily be restored to the shop, see the flat area of wall in the picture to the right.
