Who We Are

We are a company selling fires (traditionally termed stoves), based at Dulas, on the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Mon), North Wales, in a rural, but easily-accessible location just off the A5025 road mid-way between Benllech and Amlwch.

Why We Formed

Because of increasing heating costs, which is now much worse, we researched what alternatives were available. This linked to our concern about the environment and wanting to see it sustainably-managed for future generations.

We looked at other forms of heating and believe that using the sustainable, natural resource of wood is the way forward. We're impressed by the burning properties of wood and how stoves work. Wood has environmental and cost-saving benefits and dry wood has a high calorific value, ie heat output.

There is nothing to beat the ambience of a real fire. Multi-fuel stoves can also burn other fuels like coal and peat logs. Whilst our preference is for log burners we also supply electric and gas stoves.

What We Offer

If you are thinking about buying a stove we will share our knowledge and experience to help you make the right choice. By reading through the information on this web site you will get a feel for the technology and terminology of the modern stove. Whilst some of it is common sense, e.g. dry wood burns better than damp wood and that you need to understand the workings of the stove to get maximum heat and efficiency, the design, manufacture and technology of 'clean burn' and 'air wash' is more complicated.

Showroom

We have a showroom with a range of stoves and accessories and a ready supply of brochures. We will explain the installation process and if required, arrange to visit you to fully assess the fitting requirements for the stove you like.

Having spent many hours in lots of showrooms waiting to speak to sales assistants too busy with other customers, we prefer to offer appointments so that we can make sure that we are available to answer any questions you may have and that you are not disappointed when you visit. Hopefully you will find this more convenient so that we can respond to your availability be it early evening or weekends.
